Day Three of The Danny Kyle Open Stage at The Spree Festival in Paisley Sunday16 th October

DOPESICKFLY – Glasgow  
Met through busking the streets of Glasgow, Scotland with lead singer/poet ANT THOMAZ originally from the States bringing the band together. Ant brings Soulful, Poetic melodies whilst guitarist CHRIS DARLING adds a Malagueñas (Flamenco) flavour with a funk twist. Drummer CALUM MACRAE adds into the mix his Jazz background, elevating a Neo Soul sound is JOE DJAELANI on bass and to complete the band is WENDY RAE with her Bluesy backing vocals.

 

Lisa Kowalski    – Paisley 
Lisa is a 16 year old singer songwriter from Paisley. Acoustic pop, r n b and country. Regular performer for last 2 and a half years. Has played to 1000s at Braehead Clan and St Mirren FC./Pandorafest July 2016. Creative Director of and performer at her own Ten Years of Taylor Swift night, Classic Grand, August 2016.
May 2016 awarded grant from Paisley 2021 to fund recording of EP  of original songs and represent Paisley songwriting and musicianship to a national/ international platform.

 

Steve Grozier 
Glasgow based singer-songwriter Steve Grozier releases his debut EP Take My Leave on Friday 2nd September 2016. The single Drink Before Dawn is on sale now.He’s best known for his solo career and as a member of alt-country band Low Winter Sun. Since returning to the Glasgow music scene in September 2015, Grozier has made several successful festival appearances including Celtic Connections, Eden Fest and Bute Fest; opened for Will Varley and Ben Ottewell (Gomez) and played established Scottish venues including King Tuts, The Hug and Pint, The Classic Grand and Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms.
