Shelagh McKay Jones – Greenock
Has had a busy year – writing up a storm! Has been giging all over the place from around her local area to Largs Live , to Adelades in Glasgow, Perthshire Amber,Glenfarg Folk Club and opening for Rab Noakes! Running workshops “Permission to Sing” and “Freedom with Songwriting”. Recorded a new EP ‘ In Their Shoes ‘ all her own songs Has numerous projects on the go including recording sessions with her groups. She will also be appearing at St Andrews In The Square on 24 Jan with ‘Men at Words’- Archie Fisher, Jez Lowe, James Keelaghan
Granny Green Trio – Glasgow
The Grannies have had a busy years from festivals – Orkney St Magnus Festival / Eden Festival/ Bathgate Festival , to playing at The National Chambers Music Day, the ‘Big Music Festival for Minis’ – youngest festival ‘to date’ for 0-7 year olds; appearing on STV Riverside show to the Press Launch of Celtic Connections in October as well passing driving tests and graduating ! And 2016 looks as if it is going to be even busier! Appearing at The Tron Theater on Sunday 17 with the Oysters 3 Holly Boddice/ Lizy Stirrat / Rachel Brown

To festivals such as Cambridge Folk Festival, Fairport Conventions’s Cropredy Festival / The Leeds Gathering / / Hartlepool Festival/Shawfest /Knoydart Kirkcaldy Acoustic Music Club / Stranraer Folk Club Plade at the Na Trads in December to name but a few!Have an new EP out Pinnacle 67, and have a busy schedule planted for 2016 . FourWinds – Ireland
Deeply rooted in the tradition, FourWinds produce an exciting landscape of tunes and lyrics that present Irish traditional music in a modern and creative context. Their influences include Begley and Cooney, The Bothy Band, Planxty, Brady and Irvine, Moving Hearts, Pink Floyd and even Elvis. This energetic quartet delivers a truly unique musical experience. The band has performed as FourWinds since 2013, individual members having all Ireland titles at Fleadh Cheoil, individual recordings and a debut EP in the box.
