Falkirk Traditional Project -Intermediates
Set up in conjunctions with the Youth Music Imitative Falkirk Community Trust run the project – for pupils to learn a traditional instrument – who can then advance into the advanced projects. Their main tutor John Somerville brings them here today to show what one council is doing to advance traditional music in their area.

Falkirk Traditional Project -Advanced
Having come through the ranks , Falkirk Trad Project band meets once a week in Camelon Educational Centre. They recently took part in The “Kelpie Suite” written by Brian Mcneill which was warmly received and highly praised. The band play an assortment of old and new tunes, many from their local area
Katee Kross -Bishopbriggs
Katee a young singer songwriter who has been appearing at festivals throughout Scotland ad regular home gigs. Had a well received debut cd at the end of 2013 and is currently working on her first album! Listen Again
Garry Anderson – Montrose
Singer Songwriter home based, has played played in sever bands all over Scotland in festivals, folk clubs and venues and is not also out and about as a solo artist and has supported headline acts as well as appearing on local Scottish Radio shows Listen Again
Nathon Jones & Rhona Norris – Newton Stewart
Living music and from a music family they have gigged throughout Scotland on many different projects as well as a duo. Bring you through the full traditional to contemporary well crafted material Listen Again
