Celtic Music Radio’s Album of The Week Sat 6th April 6th 2024, Charlie Mckerron and Adam Sutherland will be in conversation with Liz Clark aka Auntie Liz before their April Tour, to highlight some of the tracks on the album and to let you know where to go and see them live!
Formed in 2003 and named after the highway that connects Glasgow and Inverness, Session A9 have toured extensively and headlined many a festival over the years , with 3 albums under their belt, all have hectic touring with other projects and have released their much anticipated 4th album ‘ Magic Roundabout’
‘Over the last 20 years, Session A9 have earned their reputation as one of the best live bands in the country adored by fellow artists and the wider public alike. With band members having played key roles in Capercaillie, The Peat Bog Faeries, The Boys of the Lough, Fiddler’s Bid, Blazin’ Fiddles and The Treacherous Orchestra, it’s no wonder they are frequently described as a “Scottish Supergroup.”’
