Breabach album Fàs is their 7th album since they blasted onto the scene 17 years ago. Building an ever-increasing fan base from gigging throughout the world! They have already released a single from the album back on 16th September – Eadar An Da Bhraigh and the title track Fàs on the 7th October.
Fàs (a Gaelic word meaning growth, developing & sprouting). The album is heavily inspired by the natural environment of Scotland and sees the band showcase more progressive elements in their music than ever before.
They have racked up an impressive array of accolades including from their first appearance on The Danny Kyle Open Stage in 2005 receiving a Danny! five Scots Trad Music Awards, nominations as ‘Best Group’ in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and ‘European Album of the Year’ in The Songlines Music Awards. Very much deserved from this most excellent group.
