This is Ainsley’s debut album t and came to fruition from a project started 2 years ago about Govan and it’s unsung hero’s ‘Not Just a Ship Land’ bring together the unsung hero’s / heroines – from Bell Moore – the only Scottish woman to win an Olympic gold medal back in 1912, to the Daffodil King – Peter Barr, and Felix Rooney a member of Scachelton’s crew on the Scottish- made ship SY Nimrod – to mention but a few!

All songs are written by Ainsley – produced and mixed by Malcom Lindsay – guests include Czech Studio Orchestra conducted by Mike Toms ; backing vocals Yvonne Lyon

For many years Ainsley performed and toured with folk band Barluath, who were Danny Finalists back in 2012, and have two album to their credit – to date!
Ainsley is also a member of the band Fourth Moon performing in both Gaelic and English – as well as step dancing (Ainsley shared with me that her neighbours while curious – have not complained at her practicing !)
