Scott Figgins and Scott Garden
Both recent graduates of the BMus Traditional Music course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Scott Figgins and Scott Garden studied principally as pipers and have also gained extensive experience across disciplines on other instruments.
Both from Irvine in Ayrshire, ‘The Two Scotts’ grew up piping together in their local pipe band and have been linked, both musically and as friends, since an early age.
Performing now as a folk music duo blending pipes, whistles and guitar; they bring a sound to the stage that can be recognised as having years of performing together and friendship at its core
Ok Amegos

Ok Amigos is a trio of time served ,battle – hardened stalwarts of the Glasgow music scene. Stripped back to Guitar ,sax and percussion they still manage to serve up a heady cocktail musical styles, with influences from Ry Cooder and Steely Dan to Steve Gadd and John Coltraine and the great songwriters of the 20th century. Combining a love of Blues, Jazz and Americana , underpinned with compelling and innovative swing and Latin rhythms, theirs is a unique and vibrant portfolio of songs and instrumentals. Self-penned offerings speak of quirky characters , escapist dreams and the vagaries of the human condition, via the rich, gravelly tones and intricate percussion of founder,John McNamara.
Steaph Chaimbeul with Ciorstaidh Chaimbeul
Steaph is one of the famous Campbell musical siblings from Uist/Skye/Kyle. Steaph is a 1st Class Honours graduate in Harp/Clàrsach from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. In October she won the prestigious Traditional Gold Medal for Singing at the Royal National Mod previisly won by such legends as her sin ging teacher Christine Primrose. Steaphcurrently works on the off-grid Shieling Project at Strue near Beauly in the Highlands, bulding bothies and helping young people to learn to live off the land in an environmentally sustainable fashion.
Jim Byrne
Americana songwriter and performer. Jim has released 4 solo albums and the recent book and CD collaboration, ‘Ten Writers Telling Lies’ which toured literary and music festivals to critical acclaim. Jim will play songs from the Ten Writers Telling Lies project.
Jim is an award winning songwriter who has played has supported artists such as Benny Gallagher (of Gallagher and Lyle), Blues performers Hans Theessink and legendary guitarist Whizz Jones. He has toured Ireland, England, Spain, Italy, France, Canada, America and Scotland.
He has written songs with the Jazz singer Carol Kidd, pop singer Marti Pellow (the song Lay with me is on Marti’s last solo album, Boulevard of Dreams) and many others.
Connie McLeod
From the stage of the Grande Ole Opry, to the remote villages of Samburu, Kenya, Connie has traveled the globe, sharing her music and fascinating stories at festivals, concerts, cafe’s and arenas, while her award winning songs have graced the global airwaves of fifilm, radio and television via productions like One Life to Live, Melrose Place, and The Young & the Restless. Peter Jackson and Wing Nut Films also sent a nod of approval when considering “Frodo, Fare Thee Well,” a co-write with Ennis Pruitt, as theme song for “LoTR3, Return of the King!” which is featured on her latest release, “Rough Cuts from the Castle.” Singing and Songwriting were the passions that drove Connie to excellence on her successful sophomore album, “I Wish You Well,” but shortly after release, surgery stole away her singing voice. The arduous process of rediscovering her voice birthed a new sound, a bit deeper, a little raspier, surprisingly, “Suffificient,” unveiling words of hope and encouragement in melodies that are uplifting, hauntingly beautiful and hard for the soul to ignore
