REBECCA CONNELLY

Hailing from Arbroath, singer-songwriter Rebecca Connelly combines heartfelt storytelling with pop, country, and a wee bit of rock. Her warm, clear voice has taken her from Southern California to the Scottish Highlands.
Rebecca has supported Kyle Falconer (The View), Nati Dredd, and The Coaltown Daisies, featuring on the latter’s acclaimed album Listen. Her releases include Coming Home, Days Like This, and her second album California (2020).
In 2025, she performed at the Randan Festival and Bellrock Music Festival, delivering engaging live sets with drummer Scott Burrell, who recorded drums for both California and Listen and is widely regarded for his versatile, dynamic playing. Rebecca and Scott will be back on stage next summer at some of Scotland’s best festivals.
When they aren’t performing together, Rebecca and Scott co-direct Red Rock Music in Arbroath, mentoring young musicians and supporting Scotland’s next generation of talent. Rebecca is working on her third studio album and looks forward to sharing her new music with audiences in the year ahead

HAVER

“‘Celestial’, by Haver, is brilliant – one of my favourite singles of the last year.” Billy Sloan, BBC Radio Scotland and legendary Scottish music journalist.
Haver is a four piece alt. rock band from Stirling, Scotland. They formed in 2023 and have gigged at various landmark venues, including the iconic King Tuts and more recently their sell out show at SWG3 in Glasgow.
Drawing influences from artists such as Coldplay, Keane and Radiohead, Haver have already won widespread praise for blending anthemic melodies that still resonate with an experimental edge.
Haver released their first single, ‘Celestial’, on July 31st 2024, and their Debut EP in April 2025, with more productions in the pipeline as they establish their musical career – and credentials.

JAMES STEPHEN & THE GOOD ONES

James Stephen & The Good Ones blend heartland honesty with Northern charm, crafting British-Americana that feels just as at home in Stockport as it does anywhere across the Atlantic. Inspired by the lyrical content of Paul Simon and the modern warmth of The Bros. Landreth , JS&TGO straddle the line between grit and grace, firmly placing them among the brightest talent in the UK’s rising Americana movement.
Led by singer-songwriter James Stephen, The Good Ones – humorously named to (under)state their musical proficiency from the get-go – write for those who struggle to say it themselves, untangling complex feelings and turning them into prescribed tonics for the soul. The Good Ones primarily feature guitarist Elliot Robertson (formerly of Lost Atlanta) and bassist Sam Lord (touring juggernaut with Aquilo and CQ Wrestling), allowing James Stephen to bring pedigree and polish into his already well-honed sound.

FARRAN

Farran hail from the North East of Scotland, with Lexi Tulloch on the fiddle, Reuben Henderson on vocals and guitar, and Owen O’Connor on whistle, pipes, keys and melodeon. They bring traditional and modern, Scottish and Irish folk music to their gigs, including their own tunes and songs, and tunes from Shetland since Lexi joined the band. They came together through SC&T Youth in Aberdeen, where they are taught by Sharon Hassan. With SC&T they have performed at festivals (Wayword, Scots Fiddle), supporting and playing with bands ranging from Darach to Blazin’ Fiddles and Capercaillie. They have played by invitation at Folk at the Salmon Bothy (Portsoy), TMSA’s annual Doric concert, Haddo Arts, Aberdeen Highland Games and – a dream come true for them – they are playing at Celtic Connections in the TMSA Young Champions Trad Tour Concert, finishing at 3pm on January 24th at the Royal Concert Hall, in time for DKOS! They will come down to Glasgow on the 23rd, so could also play that day, should they be selected. Dr. Roger B. Williams, M.B.E. Chair of Haddo Arts, wrote: ‘The programme of pieces chosen was splendidly varied and everyone was thoroughly engaged. The variety of instruments, together with the voice and guitar, was absolutely terrific, and I so much admired the way that the band presented their material. The whole performance had a sophistication about it which was just right. I really don’t think it could have gone better.’
