Fae Wiederhoeft Fri 4th Feb 2022
1. Never Go Back /. 2. Storms Over The Ocean. /. 3. On The Sea /. 4. Raise A Little Hell
Over the last 14 years, Fae Wiedenhoeft and her Seattle band, SeaStar, have played so much music. They have played in bars, coffeehouses, train stations, hardware stores, video arcades, house concerts, big auditoriums, and have toured in eight countries!
They have been noted as sounding “authentic” and “timeless”.
SeaStar tangles dusty dreams, salty seas, with a silver lining and a ray of hope in their original songs penned by Fae Wiedenhoeft, band leader and front woman.
SeaStar creates a unique fusion of Celtic, Folk, Maritime, Americana, and Bluegrass with echoes of psychedelic and rock. They do not fit into one genre. SeaStar hates labels. They love it all.
Northwest Music Scene wrote, “It’s not hard to imagine them singing these songs on the snowy shores of a fjord somewhere in northern Europe, as a wooden ship is sailing off on another journey. Using broad strokes, SeaStar paints vivid pictures, foregoing paintbrushes for musical instruments and lyrics, with the thundering vocals of Fae Wiedenhoeft as the driving force behind most of the music. If you are even remotely interested in Celtic music, you should love the way the band blends it with other genres to come up with their own unique style.”
SeaStar is Fae Wiedenhoeft, Captain Chambers, Michael Falcone, and Ron Allen.
They are honest, hardworking folks who love a good gathering of people to commune.
“Music is medicine in a broken world. Let’s raise the vibration and create something beautiful.”

Having played ceilidhs, parties and pub gigs together they began working on arrangements of Colin’s songs and tunes. When Boris announced lockdown Yvonne had just sold her house in Glenfarg and moved to Luthrie to stay with Colin and his partner til she bought somewhere new.
With no gigs and no ceilidhs, they set to, working through a list Colin wrote on the wall by his desk so he wouldn’t lose it, making videos of the results in the house, garden and garage, posting them on YouTube.
