DKOS 2026

Stunning yet again. With over 465 artists for the 70 20 minute slots it was impossible to get all the talent who applied to get on stage.  I thank you to all who applied and who took part!

The applicants applied from and travelled from not only Scotland and the UK, but from Ireland – North and South!, France, Poland, Canada , Sweeden, the USA.

Grateful thanks once again to Celtic Connections for hosting DKOS. To the CC hard working Production team especially Joyce and Charlie. To my MAGNIFICANT  stage and sound crew of Jim, Louise and Ashley.  To our Media Partners Celtic Music Radio for broadcasting DKOS live each day as well as broadcasting live and guests’ appearances throughout the festival.

Especially, to my fellow Director Iain Copland for ensuring you can read this, that the technical side is expertly taken care of seamlessly, his encouragement and good council. 

Also to the fantastic audiences who have rallied to the new system in having to order the free tickets and with the tickets ‘selling out’ in a record 8 minutes and a selling out every night!
