Matt Scott Band – Ayrshire
Hailing from Ayrshire, Matt Scott is a singer-songwriter who pulls influence from the likes of Guthrie, Dylan, Springsteen, Waits, and Frankie Miller.  The thumping folk / blues stories and melodies have earned him airtime on national television as well as through FM radio stations across the country.  Having performed in London, Nashville, New York and Amsterdam last year, Matt returns with familiar and unfamiliar songs for your entertainment.  Matt Scott’s “Whoever That Is…” EP was launched to a packed out King Tuts in June.  Following this, the band headlined a stage at the grassroots belting festival in the beautiful Highlands, Belladrum.  Hereafter, Matt has played solo shows across America, stunning audiences with the songs but baffling them with his accent from NYC to Nashville.  One things for sure (we think) – no one has been left disappointed.  2018 has kicked off with another packed headlining show at King Tuts, with the prospect of a number of festivals over the summer.
