Folky MacFolk Face is a Scottish and Irish folk band that writes and performs songs in a variety of folk styles including Scottish and Irish trad and American blue grass. Based in central Scotland, it’s members are Dougie Torrance (vocals & guitar), Eabhnat Ní Laighin (vocals and fiddle), Jackie Mullen (vocals, guitar, ukulele & fiddle) and Nick Watson (vocals and accordion). The band’s four members hail from Scotland and Ireland and songs are performed in English, Gaelic and Irish. FIRST gig was on the Danny Kyle Open Stage ! Jimmy Hoo Ha – Glasgow Listen Again Link 
Jimmy Hoo Ha (vocals/acoustic guitar/harmonica) is a Glaswegian folk-tinged singer songwriter with leanings towards rock. Folk rock – frock! His influences include the Beatles,Jethro Tull,Ron Sexsmith,Gram Parsons and Hank Williams. As an ex-member of the band ‘Voodoo coyote’ back in the early 1990’s he supported the late, great John Martyn at the Pavilion in Glasgow. He was also a member of the Parsonage Choir for 10 years but now goes it alone. Like a wolf that’s lost its pack hungry and lonesome he travels from one gig to another. Lonesome enough to Inspire his style of songwriting and hungry enough to keep traveling on. He has toured Australia twice in the last 2 years, gigging in various pubs and clubs and busking to make ends meet. His first album ‘Asylum
Steph Fraser Dundee / Blackpool Listen Again Link
Steph Fraser, originally from Blackpool has been playing live for ten years and is now based in Scotland. At 15 she toured Ontario Canada, making her showcase at Canadian Music week. Steph signed a deal with Island Records at 19 however parted company with the record label at 21. Since then she has toured across Europe, lived in Nashville and was part of a band which supported Mumford and Sons. She now independently continues to perform and record wherever she goes.
Brawbeag – Edinburgh/ Glasgow – Listen Again Link
Calum Kaye / Chris Lee / Enora Morice / Ross Miller
Brawbeag is a new international piping quartet consisting of Chris Lee (Hong Kong), Enora Morice (Brittany), Calum Kaye (Scotland) and Ross Miller (Scotland). The group perform mostly original compositions with a strong emphasis on their native musical traditions with the odd old favourite thrown in for good measure!
The group are all members of Grade 1 pipe bands and they met through their love of modern compositions for the bagpipes. The quartet made their performance debut at the “Quimper Quartet Contest” in December 2017.
Roberto Cassani – Scone Listen Again Link
A colourful and well-travelled character, who arrived in Scotland along a road of working class upbringing, rebellion, record deals, conscientious objection, rambling, education, illness, love, friendship, kindness and a lot of trouble. That’s probably all you need about that. Roberto has been a staff songwriter for a major label, a travelling troubadour, a session double bass player and a semi-professional piss-taker. Oh and he’s such a friendly kind fella!
For the past 10 years, Roberto has tormented music venues and Festival fields almost constantly: Scotland, UK, US, EU. He has been championed by the more daring broadcasters of the BBC, and the more out-there world radios. A Roberto gig has all the fun you need, some tasty double bass playing, dazzling guitar work from his musical bro Owen Nicholson and a pretty large catalogue of bonkers songs, from protest bonkers, to just bonkers! Aye, he’s very funny! But he’s got morals, damn it; nobody will stick up in such a raw way for the little guy
