We are an eclectic string ensemble and session band who cover a variety of genres including contemporary, classical, traditional Scottish, folk and our own material which is mostly written by our keyboard player, Lynette Beaton. We started off as a string quartet but wanted to enhance the sound and texture of our music by adding guitar and drums. This utelised the string sound so we were able to cover an array of music in a more individual way.We have performed at a number of venues in and around Inverclyde and Glasgow and have just recorded two demo tracks for promotional purposes and applications. Our aim is to cover and perform original material and songs people love in a unique way to suit our vibe and style. We love performing and making music and we hope this comes across in both our audio and visual recordings

The band consists of drums, bass, electric guitar and vocals / acoustic guitar / harmonica The band is able to present a high-energy performance, incorporating many aspects that made the late 1960s the golden era for music. The sound of band could be considered close to that of “The Rolling Stones”, “The Doors”, “Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac” and perhaps “The Black Keys” The White Feather Collective aims to boast an immersive, life changing live set; along with well considered recordings that take elements from an era of music where it didn’t matter what one looked like.
