TRÚ is a trio from Northern Ireland with an eclectic musical heritage, absorbing groove funk, Irish trad, and choral harmony to create their own soulful vibe. Individually, these 3 artists are unique; Mormecha’s “LOFi LiFE” was shortlisted for the 2016 NI Music Prize, while Trouton and Kearney met touring the world with vocal ensemble ANÚNA.Inspired by songs and stories from their native Ulster, this trio has absorbed a wealth of influences to discover a unique approach to folksong. TRÚ also perform songs from the English and Scots traditions and write original material informed by a long line of folk singers.

Lesley and Megan O’Brian
The Moonbathers, a duo with close knit family harmonies of Lesley and Megan O’Brien. Lesley is a singer and storyteller, brought up in Bridgeton, this interest began in the home where many a good tale was shared and sing-song enjoyed at family gatherings, and in the back-courts and tenement closes that accompanied the games of her childhood. Megan, sharing this passion for song and storytelling has studied Theatre and the Arts. Now they unite to celebrate family and folk lore with the simple power of voice, both spoken and sung, with guitar accompaniment. The Moonbathers are based in the folk tradition with a vibrant, fresh appeal.
