The Cognac Twins are Craig Anderson, and Paul Connelly who hail from historic Dunfermline Town. The songs on their stunning new album tell tales of life, humanity, hopes and fears. Described as playing “authentic guid folk for authentic guid folk” The Cognac Twins debut brings Scottish Folk Music back to the fore.
Bex Currie -Motherwell – Listen Again Link
A singer songwriter from Motherwell Bex Currie wears her heart on her sleeve through her music. Writing about love loss and everything in between. Bex has been glasgow based fo rsome years but has taken her music to the Middle east and also Kenya while out working. Recently she has released an EP titled For You. As well as working the local open mic circuit Bex has also supported Wallis Bird, Allie Moss, Rachael Yamagata and will soon be on the road for her first tour with American band Ships Have Sailed.
Jeremy Levif – France – Ayrshire – Listen Again Link
Jeremy has as been living, working and performing in the South-West of Scotland, Ayr, for four years now and have even released my first album “Come Hail or Storm” here, in my new ‘homeland’. Jeremy not only sings in his native French tongue – but also in Gaelic He play sometimes in collaboration with other local musicians in local charity events as well as gigging extensively
Lisa Kowalski – Paisley – Listen Again Link
Aged 17 with 3 years of live performance, including festivals such as Mugstock, Pandorafest, Northhop, Vamos Americana Fest, and Motherwell BeerFest on the headlining stage at Motherwell Concert Hall. Lisa has also sang to thousands at St Mirren FC. Lisa released her debut EP in 2017 funded by Paisley 2021. With numerous awards also under her belt we can expect to see a lot more of this talented young artists with iher next EP, with the first single released to coincide with her debut appearance at King Tuts on 6th February on her 18 birthday !
The Gallus Crows – Midlothian – Listen Again Link

All four Crows are multi-instrumentalists, and each contributes compositions to our growing repertoire of original material. Their various influences, which range from folk, Americana, “classic” and “alternative” rock, heavy metal and punk, all fuse together to give Gallus Crows a unique and eclectic sound. Their original songs feature on both of the “Captain’s Sessions” cds and we released their debut cd, “The Langdale EP”, in 2016 and currently working on our first self-recorded and produced album, provisionally entitled “Year of the Crow”, scheduled for release in early 2018.
