On the last day of the 2013  Danny Kyle Open Stage the last 5 artists .  Remember to tune in tomorrow to hear the results and the 6 finalists for 2013.

Also Big Day on the DKOS for our own Ross Macfadyen Who will for donations play a short set (only 6 lessons!) on accordion at the start of the Danny’s to raise funds for the Celtic Music Radio Station. So if you have not donated PLEASE do so! WE need the money ! Please be assured that no money will go to further lessons for Ross !!! You can donate on line by hitting the DONATE button ( please note that if enough donations are received before the concert for Ross NOT to play – then that could happen too – all monies are kept!) in 2011 at just 13 Her debut single at just 2012  “35 Missed Calls” went straight to no 3 in the Amazon Folk Charts . Establishing herself very quickly as a singer songwriter and will be releasing her CD this year

 


Graham Low and Jack Kirkpatrick
These accomplished young musicians from Orkney wowed everyone on the Open Stage at the Orkney Folk Festival , Graham also takes part in ‘The Gathering’ .  They come down from Orkney to play for you today

Singer songwriter who came to Scotland in 2003, is now a student and a teacher of music, studying a BA applied music degree at Strathclyde University. Has toured Europe successfully with various bands in the past.

Donald and Ally began working together in 2010 Stephen joined them last year, they have toured extensively both in the UK and Europe appearing at festivals such as Belladrum  , their debut CD was well received and reached the to 20 in the European alternative charts

 

Owen Goulding Oban
Has been singing since 14 years of age in Manchester and as an ex-pat in Saudi Arabia . Is requested to sing at many events and decided to take the music to a wider audience and  recently recorded a demo CD to get to that goal
