Eve is 14 years old and has been playing guitar and singing since she was 9. “ I picked up a guitar when I broke my leg and have loved playing and performing ever since!” She is hoping to fine tune her performance by gigging and performing on The Danny Kyle Open Stage! Where you can literally say she got her ‘big break’ at 9 to set her on her musical journey! Eve has also been writing some of her own material and would hope to get it recorded in the future.

Ross Whyte & Alasdair Whyte
Ross & Alasdair are collaboration between electronic composer and musician. The collaboration began as a commission by the organisation Ceòl ‘s Craic to bring together artists from the fields of electronic and traditional music for a live performance. Taking inspiration from Alasdair’s research interest in 17 th- and 18 th- century Gaelic song and poetry, the duo began working on new ambient electronic arrangements of several rarely-heard songs as well as original compositions. Their music has drawn comparisons with Sigur Rós and Martyn Bennett.
Their debut album, ‘Fairich’, will be released on 21 October 2016.
Due to their debut album launch in Aberdeen they will not be performing live on stage tonight!
“I would also like to thank Active Events ,Raymond and his team, to Calmy and Shiona on sound, Renfrewshire District Council and of course Ken and Rosie & Allan from Celtic Music Radio and all the CMR team – especially the ‘techies’ and back stage crew who made sure the music got out there” Liz
