Two 16 year old students at Stomness  Academy,
Orkney – fiddle & guitar  and starting to write
their own songs – from the Open Stage at

Kate Young from Midlothian
Fiddle player, singer, compose and teacher has first class
Honours degree from Newcastle University working in many
collaboration to take her music forward.

 

 

Amy Baillie From West Lothian
Is a 16 year old songwriter and musician
involved with the Youth Action Project
and taking part in local /school events.

 

 

 

Matt Tighe – From London
A young fiddle player fast making a name for himself
playing the West Clare style of playing. Recently taken
part in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards.
