Their ace combination of rock swagger, blues groove, and the rough and tumble of Americana is one few Scottish bands can match.” The Music Brewery The ATC sound draws on numerous influences: the pristine vocal harmonies of country and bluegrass, raucous bluesy guitars, the tight swinging rhythms of classic soul and funk with Anton’s sweet smokey growl accompanied by tales of love, regret, addiction, good times, bad times and everything in-between.The miles travelled and the countless hours of stage time has helped shape a sound that takes many twists and turns during their live set. It’s a journey of sound and emotion that they hope to capture and recreate with their debut album due for release late winter ’17.
Kieran Sinclair & Friends – Glasgow Listen Again
Kieran is perhaps best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the Glasgow-based folk band, Papa Shandy & The Drams. With over ten years of experience in the live music scene, Kieran has garnered attention from music fans and industry professionals alike with his distinctly unique smoky voice. An accomplished musician and multi-instrumentalist, he specialises in guitar and banjo and gives his focus to the raw details of folk singing and playing. Having grown up in the Lanarkshire area of Central Scotland, Kieran has been heavily influenced by his working-class upbringing and expresses this through his music. His debut solo album, Hard Times, sings of past, present, and future concerns from a political and socio-economic standpoint and both his original songs and traditional covers lament on themes of injustice, poverty, and inequality in our world. Kieran has been featured showcasing his talent in a number of bands in the past including ex-Teenage Fanclub member Paul Quinn’s, The Primary Five, and traditional Scottish ceilidh band, Luan. With his band, Papa Shandy & The Drams, he has headlined Eden Festival, Southside Fringe Festival, Strathyre Music Festival, and Loch Lomond Folk Festival. He has performed at a number of well-respected music venues in the UK including Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, O2 ABC,
Bobby Deans – Glasgow – Listen Again
The original travelling minstrel Bobby Deans travelled round Europe honing his craft and writing the songs about life and choices, from Prague, Paris, Rome, London and countless other cities, busking and playing in small clubs. He has played in bands and is now concentrating on a solo career gigging extensively throughout Glasgow and Scotland at large. He has recently released an new EP Four Generations available on
