Luc McNally & Iona Fyfe Listen Again
Luc McNally, a guitarist and singer originally from Dipton, County Durham. His work has taken him all over the UK and Europe performing with Sketch and Eddie Seaman as well as forging his own solo career. Iona is originally from Huntly and over ten years she has won several ballad and bothy ballad competitions as well as performing with her band in the UK. A new collaboration, Iona and Luc combine North East Scots and English song with light guitar and piano accompaniment to showcase the rich wealth of British folksong.
The Miss’s – Glasgow Listen Again

Compelling audiences with their distinctive and intense music, The Miss’s are a hidden gem of a Scottish duo. Already established over the years, the band has naturally developed as a passion project for the two. In addition to writing, recording and producing the forthcoming album, Audrey has founded, produced and performed in Hector Bizerk. This work has led to two consecutive Scottish Album of the Year nominations and an extensive touring and festival history across the UK, Europe and USA. Michelle is currently a songwriter, session vocalist, and performs and tours as lead singer in Glasville.
The Magpies – Glasgow Listen Again

The Magpies are an alternative folk pop trio who write and play together in Glasgow.Originating from acoustic duo Reasons To Be Cheerful with Lizzie King (lead vocals, guitar) and Doro Weber (drums, percussion), the band welcomed the addition of Peter Keay (bass, backing vocals) in early 2016. The Magpies are a relatively young band, having started playing together in January 2016. Gigging widly since their forming also released their self-produced debut; ‘Wait for the Sunrise’, bringing the endorsement from radio plays UK Wide . The summer saw the band perform at some exciting festival gigs including L Fest in Uttoxeter and Manchester Pride. Their second EP, to be released early 2017.
The Fika Collective – Glasgow Listen Again

The Fika Collective is a newly-formed Glasgow-based group of fiddlers. We share a love of Nordic folk music and other unusual world tunes. We choose our music around the story and distinct visual imagery which the tunes suggest to us. We have been playing together in different combinations for many years. Lachlan Green is originally from Canberra, Australia Hardanger fiddle . Libby McGugan, fiddle, is from Glasgow Fiddle. Newcastle-based fiddler, bouzouki player and singer Malcolm Bushby is from Tasmania, Australia. Sally Simpson, fiddle, comes from Portobello, Edinburgh.
Flew The Arrow – Ayr Listen Again

FlewTheArrow is Lee McGilvray, an aspiring contemporary folk artist rising from the small town of Ayr on the West Coast ofScotland. Melding fleeting finger style melodies with percussive beats through an array of pleasant open tunings, accompanied by his poetic lyrics and powerful voice that collate to form a warm sense an original songwriting that is yet to be discovered. His debut EP titled “If You’d Only Care To Listen” was released last summer before a successful round of festivals and a couple of appearances at Kin Tuts. He is laying down trcs soon for his second EP and is looking forward to another busy summer of festivals and gigs
