This the 24th year of DKOS – The Danny Kyle Open Stage –had over 425 artists applied to be on the stage – whittled down to 160 then to the 75 slots available. ‘some of’ the places artists applied from:-

5 acts per day over 15 days + 2 showcases – over 230 artists on stage. From flying in from Canada and USA, Ireland and The Isle of Harris! to 13 hour drives from Cornwall, 9 hour drives from London and deepest Englandshire – to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, from North and Southern Ireland, to the sunny shores of Spain. They came to share their talent with a standing room only each night, in the enthusiastically packed Exhibition Hall of the GRCH in Glasgow. This year was second to none to the stunning talent that graced the DKOS stage – all winners!
6 acts had to be chosen out of all these winners – perhaps the most difficult task the panel ever had to make – to receive a Danny! And to come back next year for a showcase of their talents.
